Objectworld Rolls Out Objectworld UC Server Software

(Wireless News Via Acquire Media NewsEdge)
Objectworld Communications Corp. has announced communications-enabled
service creation capabilities with its Objectworld Unified
Communication (UC) Server software.

Users can now take greater control over building their own unified
communications process and solutions by "mashing-up" corporate data,
business processes (e.g., responding to customer calls, working with
partners, providing customers with self-service) and business
communications systems (e.g., e-mail, voice, fax). By linking business
communications, business processes, and corporate data with phone-based
applications and services, SMBs are able to expand upon their return on
investment in unified communications.

UC Server provides a service creation environment for phone-based
services and applications with a number of drag-and-drop controls that
makes building services and applications visual and straightforward.
Unlike traditional enterprise IT mash-ups, with Objectworld's solution
the Web is not the delivery mechanism; the phone system is. However,
the principle is still the same: UC Server provides tools that allow
organizations to customize their unified communications solutions to
meet their specific business processes and customer expectations.

"In today's fast-changing business landscape, low-cost, flexible
solutions are very important for small- to medium-sized businesses as
they grow large and as they adapt to compete," said David Levy,
Objectworld's president and CEO. "Until now, communications enabled
business process capabilities were expensive -- affordably only by
large enterprises. With UC Server, SMB customers and solution providers
quickly can build unified communications services and applications that
link together e-mail, voice, and corporate data, potentially saving
tens of thousands of dollars in professional services fees while
creating the opportunity to develop new revenue streams."

Other improvements with this release of Objectworld UC Server provide
expanding upon out-dialing capabilities by detecting fax machines and
voicemail. Other features include support for audio paging, execution
of external applications from a list determined by IT administrators,
and improvements to audio file handling, email attachments, data
comparisons, and database filtering capabilities.
