OAUG Elects 2015 Board of Directors


ATLANTA --(Business Wire)--

The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), an organization providing the world's largest user knowledgebase for Oracle (News - Alert) Applications users, welcomes six new and two reelected members to its 2015 board of directors.

The new board members are Brian Bouchard, financial systems manager at Northern Tier Energy; Andrew Farber, manager of financial systems at Consumer Reports; Christine Hipp, IT project manager at Los Alamos National Laboratory; Carrie Hollack, strategy and planning for corporate center applications at Nordstrom; Julie Maa, BizApps support manager at Google (News - Alert); and George Somogyi, IT director at Newedge.

Bouchard has been involved with Oracle Applications for more than 20 years and actively involved with the OAUG since 1996. He has presented Oracle E-Business Suite topics at regional, national and international OAUG events; led OAUG eLearning webinars; served as the OAUG Asset SIG coordinator for the past 10 years; and authored a book on Oracle E-Business Suite and several articles published in various technology magazines.

Farber has 24 years of experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite Applications. He has been a long-term active member of the OAUG, presenting at conferences and serving on the OAUG Customer Support Council for more than 13 years. He previously served on the OAUG board of directors and has also served as a member of the OAUG Governance Committee and the OAUG Finance Committee.

Hipp has 12 years of experience working with Oracle Applications and 10 years of active involvement with the OAUG. She previously served on the OAUG board of directors for three years, led the OAUG Government Contractor SIG for three years and served on the OAUG Membership Committee and OAUG Governance Comittee.



Hollack is a long-time Oracle E-Business Suite evangelist and has been her organization's OAUG Ambassador since joining Nordstrom. She has been a frequent presenter at OAUG conferences since 2008 and was an active member of Oracle's Customer Advisory Boards from 2007-2011.

Maa is an IT professional with more than 10 years of experience and has been an active member of the Oracle Applications users community. She has a long history working with a wide range of Oracle Applications and software, including Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning, Oracle SOA Suite, and Oracle Hyperion, and has experience with global implementations, Sarbanes-Oxley readiness audits, segregation of duties assessments and managing production support.


Somogyi has more than 20 years of Oracle Applications and six years of Oracle Hyperion experience. He has been actively involved in the OAUG throughout the years, having presented at numerous OAUG conferences since 1997 and serving as chair of the Endeca SIG, chair of the Accounts Payable SIG, chair of the Cost Management SIG and chair of the conference agenda and conference paper selection committees.

OAUG board members reelected for 2015 are Joseph Imbimbo, Oracle Applications DBA at PPG Industries, and Alyssa Johnson, practice director at Rolta. Board members completing their elected terms in 2015 are Karen Brownfield, Infosemantics; Patricia Dues, City of Las Vegas; Melissa English, Alticor; Daniel McGarry, Parsons (News - Alert) Brinckerhoff; Tammy Norton, Alvarez & Marsal; and Ketan Thanki, Geokinetics. OAUG members elect representatives to the OAUG Board of Directors from a list of candidates, who are current, active members.
