Nymity Leverages Sitecore's Web CMS to Provide Sophisticated Web-Based Privacy Support Tool

SAN FRANCISCO --(Business Wire)-- Sitecore, the leading provider of .NET Web Content Management System (CMS) and portal software, today announced that Nymity, a privacy research firm and web-based tools solution provider, has deployed Sitecore's CMS solution for development of PrivaWorks, a web-based privacy tool. This application allows for management of the vast amount of complex content required by lawyers and other privacy professionals.

PrivaWorks provides privacy professionals with management checklists, on-demand expertise, privacy monitoring and a compliance configurator. Specifically, PrivaWorks incorporated Sitecore's extensive metadata tagging ability to create expert filters that offer users a new level of search functionality by delivering needed database content in a timely manner. Tying together thousands of documents, rules and references through this tagging process, Nymity estimated that clients received 80% of what they need to know about a privacy case or issue in 20 minutes.

PrivaWorks also allows for privacy experts to connect and interact with one another through subscriber forums. Whether users are sharing ideas about a case or asking questions on legislation, the integrated forums provides Nymity customers with another means of searching for and obtaining information for their privacy needs. In addition to an increase in database search capabilities, PrivaWorks allows for privacy professionals to subscribe to alerts and monitor for developments in privacy based on their preferences and areas of interest through email integration.
