NTI Rolls Out New Windows Server Edition of Its MiST Personal File Sharing Service [Health & Beauty Close - Up](Health & Beauty Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) NTI has announced the availability of a new Windows Server Edition of its MiST personal file sharing service, which enables users to create a secure, personal file-sharing network to provide anywhere-access of shared content on their computers with other computers and mobile devices. In a release, the Company said that MiST is a direct device-to- device content sharing service with cloud sync capabilities. NTI said that the Windows Server Edition is a service package designed for Business users with file servers that are installed with the Windows Server version OS. The typical 24/7 operation of such file servers make them ideal to host MiST services, which enable anywhere access to shared files on a 24/7 basis with always- on availability. Additionally, also to the benefits of Businesses, SSL is added to encrypt data transfer. When the encryption option is turned on, data transfer within the MiST networks will be conducted within secure SSL sessions. This new release also contains enhancements to the handling of firewalls, which is an important element in business computing environments.
