Nextel Partners Celebrates Opening of 100th Company-Owned StoreKIRKLAND, Wash. --(Business Wire)-- Aug. 26, 2005 -- Nextel Partners, Inc. (Nasdaq:NXTP) today announced the opening of the company's 100th company-owned store. Located in Kona, Hawaii, the store is the 27th of at least 40 stores that the company is committed to opening in 2005. "Our company-owned stores provide a customer-friendly solution to satisfying the demand for our innovative products and data applications," said John Chapple, chairman, CEO and president of Nextel Partners. "These stores are a low-cost distribution channel whose proven results have helped drive company-record customer additions. They have been a tremendous success for Nextel Partners." Local schools on the Big Island of Hawaii will also share in Partners' celebration. To mark the company's significant milestone, Nextel Partners will host a school supply drive and make a donation to two area high schools.
