NEORIS Hosts Annual Corporate Social Responsibility Event in Partnership with Junior Achievement during Global Entrepreneurship Week

NEORIS, a global business and IT consulting company, announced it was partnering for the fifth time with Junior Achievement (JA) to host the job shadowing and mentoring program NEOfrontiers Day in major cities around the world during Global Entrepreneurship Week. As part of NEORIS' Corporate Social Responsibility Program NEOfrontiers, NEOfrontiers Day seeks to expose students to careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) as they explore their own entrepreneurial ideas.

NEOfrontiers will take place during Global Entrepreneurship Week, the world's largest celebration of innovators and job creators who launch start-ups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare.

Launched in 2010, NEOfrontiers Day will take place today as NEORIS employees share their work day with high school students at its offices worldwide, including Rosario (Argentina), Sao Paulo (Brazil), Monterrey (Mexico), Madrid (Spain) and Miami (US and global headquarters).

NEOfontiers Day was born from the vision to bring together several countries on the same day to carry out a global CSR (News - Alert) event. During this day students have the opportunity to 'job shadow' NEORIS mentors and experience what a typical work day at NEORIS is like.

Celebrating 15 years driving business value for its clients, NEORIS recognizes that a big part of its success is its talent pool around the world. That's why nurturing the next generation of business and technology leaders at an early stage in their careers is a cornerstone of the corporate culture.

NEORIS embraces entrepreneurship from the highest levels of the organization and understands firsthand how tech startups can evolve into major industry players. Recently appointed CEO Martin Mendez co-founded Amtec.net along with three business partners fresh out of college in 1996. The company was the first technology startup in Argentina to obtain external capital to finance growth and in the middle of the Internet boom sold the thriving Amtec.net to NEORIS, a subsidiary of CEMEX Group, one of the most important cement producers worldwide.

Mendez will address students participating in the job shadowing program at NEORIS offices around the globe via video conference, hoping to support, inspire and cultivate the next generation of business and technology leaders by sharing his own personal success story.

The 2015 Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is the largest celebration of entrepreneurship yet, with events in 160 countries. From November 16-22, roughly 10 million people will take part in the eighth annual celebration, recognizing and supporting entrepreneurs from around the world.

Join our global celebration on November 18 and follow the hashtags #NEOfrontiers2015 and #InspiringYouth.
