IBC Stand 1.171 - NDS, the leading provider of technology solutions for digital pay-TV, today announced that it will showcase a full range of new developments at IBC 2006, demonstrating how its technology enables the secure delivery of content across any platform, on any device and at any time.

At IBC 2006, NDS will demonstrate its newest technologies and latest deployments, including:

VideoGuard(R) DRM solutions that enable secure content streaming and download to PCs, Personal Multimedia Players (PMP's) and mobile devices, allowing broadcasters to offer multi platform services.

XTV deployed DVR technology featuring:

-- Sky+ HD - BSkyB's newly launched HD service featuring Europe's first HD secure integrated DVR based on NDS XTV technology.

-- DIRECTV+ - an advanced DVR featuring a comprehensive Electronic Program Guides (EPGs), enhanced search and recommendations capabilities, push Video-on-Demand (VOD) and next generation interactive games.

Synamedia(TM) Metro - the Company's newly launched end-to-end security and middleware solution for IPTV, VOD, DVR, Network DVR and Archive TV.

XSPACE - enabling operators to deliver the best internet-based video content to hybrid broadband/satellite STBs by effective integration with their TV service.

XTEND - enabling pay-TV subscribers to enjoy their personal PC content such as photos, music and videos on their STB.

Advanced Interactive Games - to include games deployed on DIRECTV+, SKY Italia, and BSkyB platforms as well as next generation games such as XtreamPlay. An XTV box golf game will also be featured using XTV Ready connectivity technology.

NDS will also demonstrate how its conditional access technology, which is currently used by more than 64 million subscribers and secures revenues of more than $32 billion worldwide, is being deployed to emerging broadcasters in the IPTV and Mobile TV space. NDS's new end-to-end solution for WiMAX TV and Mobile TV (DVB-H and DMB), which enable the delivery of TV to a variety of fixed and mobile devices, will also be showcased.

NDS will be located at stand 1.171, as well as having a POD at the IBC Mobile area and a hospitality room at the SVP suite. Further details about NDS's demonstrations at IBC will be released closer to the time of the conference.
