NCKU President to Visit Austria, Slovakia and Czech Republic


Prof. Huey-Jen Jenny Su will begin her first European visit as President of National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) on July 7, when she travels to Austria, Slovakia and Czech Republic to further boost bilateral relations with European nations. She is also expected to attend the opening ceremony of IC Taiwan Exhibition at the Mendel Museum of Masaryk University, Czech Republic.

President Su is departing July 7 for a five-day trip to Austria, Slovakia and Czech Republic, according to NCKU Office of International Affairs.



This will be the first time President Su to lead a delegation to Europe since taking office in February 2015.

The trip is in response to the invitations extended by the European collaborative allies.


Aimed at building mutual understanding and strengthening bilateral friendship, Su will visits University of Vienna, Vienna University of Technology, Johannes Kepler University Linz, Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovak Academy of Sciences, and Masaryk University of Czech Republic.

President Su on behalf of NCKU will also renew the collaborative agreement with Johannes Kepler University Linz.
