NCI acquires NewStep NetworksJun 09, 2009 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Natural Convergence, a supplier of hosted VoIP software applications, has acquired communications technology provider NewStep Networks. Both the firms are based in Canada. The acquisition is expected to enhance Natural Convergence's (NCI's) flagship product, silhouette, with NewStep's fixed mobile convergence solution. Bill Crank, president of NCI, said: "This acquisition is part of NCI's long-term strategy to increase growth via partnering, leveraging adjacent markets and new products.
