Navis Announces Winners for Inaugural Inspire Awards

Navis, a part of Cargotec Corporation, and the provider of operational technologies that unlock greater performance and efficiency for the world's leading terminal operators revealed today at Navis World 2015 the winners of its first Navis Inspire Awards, sponsored by Port Technology International.

The Navis Inspire Awards recognizes excellence in container terminal operations and celebrates customers who use the Navis terminal operating system (TOS), optimization modules and integrated technologies to innovate, optimize and deliver value and positive impact at their terminal facilities and in their broader communities. Navis received submissions in the categories of Terminal Operations Improvement; Innovation; Customer Impact and Community Impact. Winners were selected through a combination of peer voting on the Navis Online Community and a joint judging panel from Navis and Port Technology International.

In every category, two winners were selected. The Award of Excellence honors the terminals showing the greatest impact within that category, and the Award of Recognition honors the runner-ups. The winners for each category are as follows:

Customer Impact

Terminal Operations

Innovation

Community Impact

"We are inspired by the enthusiastic responses we received from our customers for the Navis Inspire Awards," said Andy Barrons, VP and CMO of Navis. "The award program has certainly lived up to its name-it was truly inspiring to see all that has been achieved by terminals throughout the world. Each and every nomination brought to life the hard work, dedication and challenges that were overcome to make a difference at these terminals, for their customers and their communities. We offer our most sincere congratulations to all the winners."
