The fourth annual National Middle Market Summit, hosted by GE Capital, The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business and the National Center for the Middle Market, provides a unique platform for mid-market business leaders and key stakeholders to share challenges and hear from the top names in business, politics, and industry specializations. More than 1,000 CEOs and business executives, academics and policymakers from across the country gathered at The Ohio State University to discuss the issues that matter most to middle market businesses and help drive growth in this vital sector of the U.S. economy.

This year's keynote speakers include Mitt Romney, former governor of Massachusetts; Steve Case*, chairman and CEO of Revolution (News - Alert) LLC and co-founder of America Online; and Jack Nicklaus, golf legend and CEO of Nicklaus Companies. Previous Summit headliners included George W. Bush, 43rd President of the United States; Warren Buffett, chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway; and Sammy Hagar, Hall of Fame rocker, middle market CEO and philanthropist.

"The most critical key to success for any leader is building a great team," said Mitt Romney during his fireside chat on Oct. 28. "It's about putting the right people in the right positions, getting to know them on a personal level, and understanding how their combined strengths can make you and the organization stronger. That's true in business, it's true in politics, it's true in anything you do."
