Mr. Jan Erik Furunes leaves his position as CEO of Helgeland Sparebank.(Oslo Bors Newsfeed Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Mr. Jan Erik Furunes has informed the Board that he wishes to leave his position as CEO with effect from September 30th 2014, due to personal reasons. Effective from the same date, The Board has appointed Deputy CEO Lisbeth Flågeng in the position. The board will in the autumn initiate the process of recruiting a new CEO. Chairman Thore Michalsen has the following comments: Mr. Jan Erik Furunes was appointed CEO of the bank in 2011- He is leaving an organization that is well equipped to ensure business continuity and continue the strategy adopted. The bank has throughout his leadership period delivered very good results. Acting CEO Lisbeth Flågeng has been with the bank since 1985, and she has during that time held a number of management positions in the bank and various board positions in the bank´s subsidiaries and associated companies as well as for external companies.
