'Mobile operators propose 4G network for Moscow'(DMeurope Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Russian mobile operators MTS, Vimpelcom and Megafon will propose to the Russian Ministry of Communications that they build a 4G network in Moscow, instead of planned 3G network, reports RBC Daily. There is currently no 3G network in the city as the relevant frequencies have still not been released by the military . The operators are proposing to spend up to USD 5 billion on a 4G network. The Russian President has called on the Defence and Communications Ministries to resolve the frequency issue for Moscow.
