mLevel Unveils New Ecommerce Functionality

ATLANTA, April 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- mLevel Inc., a global leader in microlearning platforms, today announced the addition of ecommerce functionality to its popular eLearning solution. This new feature allows educators and trainers to obtain compensation through an integrated billing system, and allows mLevel's clients and partners to easily distribute their content directly to end users.

Microlearning is the new standard and hot trend in eLearning. As consumers adjust to the communication speed of the Internet Age, microlearning's quick-hit learning style allows learners to choose their topics and get exactly what they need, when they need it. It is based on the fact that the human brain learns and retains information more effectively when it is presented in "bite-sized" chunks. However, most microlearning solutions are only offered as complete solutions – requiring corporations and learning institutions to license an entire platform and then manage its use.

With its new ecommerce functionality, mLevel is giving its clients and partners a bite-sized business model that matches and aligns with its microlearning approach. Corporations and learning institutions can now easily distribute their content directly to end users. These organizations can now simply point their users to an mLevel-enabled website where they can purchase and start using the eLearning content immediately. The prices for the content are se independently by the educational content provider.

"Microlearning disrupted the traditional eLearning market and now mLevel is disrupting the microlearning market with a new delivery model that matches the way people want to buy and receive information," said mLevel CEO Jordan Fladell. "We want to create new opportunities for our partners by making it quick and easy to distribute their extensive eLearning catalogs."

Pearson has partnered with mLevel to provide a select group of educational content directly to college students. The company is currently offering online study aids in psychology, sociology, communications and political science.

"Providing students with direct access to online study aids reinforces their understanding of the course material and increases engagement, which ultimately helps to improve academic performance," said Dickson Musslewhite, vice president, Pearson.

mLevel was built around the idea that people engage and learn differently than they did in the past. Organizations worldwide have turned to mLevel to implement new techniques that have helped them improve their education and training. Using mLevel's engaging and often fun learning methods, these organizations have improved productivity and profitability in ways they wouldn't have considered otherwise.
