Mkt watch: Software and IT services stocks likely boosted by 2011-15 plan

BEIJING, Apr 08, 2012 (Xinhua via COMTEX) -- Stocks related to software and IT servic es sectors in Chinese A-share market are likely to gain support from a five-year development plan released by Chinese authorities.

China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) Frid ay released the development plan for the software and information tech nology service industry in the 12th Five-Year Plan period (2011-2015), saying that by 2015 China's revenues from the software and informatio n technology service industry are expected to exceed 4 trillion yuan w ith an annual growth rate of over 24.5 percent.

According to the plan, the weight of the software and information t echnology service industry in the whole IT industry will increase to 2 5 percent and revenues from software exports will reach 60 billion yua n by 2015. (Edited by Ma Xin, maxin11@xinhua.org)
