MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS CLARIFIES ON GOOGLE CASE(Indian Business Insight Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, has issued a clarification that the Competition Commission of India (CCI) has not levied any fine on Google. This was in response to media reports that the Delhi High Court had issued a stay order on 15 Oct 2014 against a penalty of Rs1 crore by CCI on Google for alleged failure to provide information in a probe into its alleged unfair trade practices in India. |
