Microlink aiming for listing on Main Market [Business Times (Malaysia)](Business Times (Malaysia) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) KUALA LUMPUR: Information technology (IT) solutions firm Microlink Solutions Bhd aims to move to the Bursa Securities Main Market in the next 12 months. "We are looking into measures in pursuit of this target," said chief executive Peter Yong Kar Seng after Microlink's extraordinary general meeting, here, yesterday. In line with its ambitions, the company has bought five companies for a combined RM50 million. "The acquisitions are not only about getting additional contributions. The purchases will contribute positively to the company's earnings but they are also very strategic in nature. "The purchases will allow us to offer more services, not only with regards to application software but also in infrastructure and services," Yong explained. The companies it bought include Applied Business Systems Sdn Bhd, Formis Systems & Technology Sdn Bhd, First Solution Sdn Bhd and Formis Advanced Systems Sdn Bhd.
