Metaswitch Certifies Grandstream's Enterprise IP Phones for Hosted UC SolutionsGrandstream Networks, connecting the world since 2002 with award-winning SIP unified communication solutions, today announced that Metaswitch Networks has certified Grandstream's GXP2100 series of color-screen Enterprise IP Phones. Service providers around the world using the Metaswitch hosted IP telephony platform can now seamlessly and securely provision Grandstream's GXP2130, GXP2135, GXP2140, GXP2160 and GXP2170 for mass deployments. These devices are now part of a long-list of Grandstream endpoints certified by Metaswitch. All Grandstream devices certified by Metaswitch support the Metaswitch Provisioning Server endpoint pack available for download from Metaswitch's Mosaic website. This enables service providers to quickly and easily configure Grandstream devices in the field for customer deployments. Grandstream is sponsoring and exhibiting at the annual Metaswitch partner and customer event, Metaswitch Forum, taking place this week, May 16-19 in Scottsdale, AZ, USA. Attendees can visit Grandstream in booth 26 to see a full working demonstration of Grandstream's Metaswitch-certified devices. Grandstream's award-winning GXP2100 series of Enterprise IP Phones are ideal for users who handle high-call volumes and need access to advanced telephony features. The GXP2100 series is made up of the GXP2130, which supports 3 SIP accounts, GXP2135 and GXP2140, which each support 4 SIP accounts, and the GXP2160 and GXP2170, which each support 6 SIP accounts. These Enterprise IP phones support Gigabit speeds, HD audio, built-in PoE and offer integrated Bluetooth for syncing Bluetooth headsets and mobile devices. The newest models in the series, the GXP2135 and GXP2170, add built-in digital speed-dial/BLF keys while offering support for 8 lines (GXP2135) and 12 lines (GXP2170). The completion of successful certification testing of the GXP2100 series further expands the long-term partnership between Grandstream and Metaswitch. By adding certification of these five new devices, Metaswitch has now certified 33 Grandstream SIP endpoints - including the full current line of Grandstream IP Phones, ATAs and VoIP gateways.
