McAfee Ramps Up with New Partners for Its Security Innovation Alliance Program(Wireless News Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) At the RSA Security Conference, McAfee announced that nine additional companies have joined the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance, a technology partnering program. Four of these new partners -- High Tower, LogRhythm, SenSage and Skybox Security -- and four previously announced SIA partners-Absolute Software, Bit9, LogLogic and Q1 Labs -- showcased their support for McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) in the McAfee Solution Pavilion Booth at the RSA Conference in San Francisco. Also joining SIA but not present in the Solution Pavilion are partners AccessData, Intellitactics, SecureLogix and StillSecure. "The McAfee Solution Pavilion provides an excellent opportunity to highlight how our technology partners are innovating with us to improve security industry-wide," said Joe Gottlieb, vice president of corporate strategy and technology alliances, McAfee. "Together, McAfee and its partners are building and testing a wide array of solutions that deliver greater protection, reduced risk and increased compliance." McAfee ePO lets enterprises and governments centrally manage security and compliance products from multiple vendors, offering unprecedented cost savings and return on investment. With the announcement, a total of 18 companies will be using McAfee's software development kit and application programming interfaces (APIs) to integrate with ePO, leveraging the first interoperability category made available to partners through the program, the company noted in a release.
