Marshfield Clinic Health System Names Susan Turney as CEO [Manufacturing Close - Up](Manufacturing Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The Marshfield Clinic Health System Board of Directors has named Susan L. Turney, MD, MS, FACP, FACMPE, as the Health System's first chief executive officer. According to a release from the company, Turney, who will assume the new role September 1, has resigned her position as President & CEO of the Englewood, Colo.-based Medical Group Management Association. The Marshfield Clinic Health System position represents a return home for Turney, a Wisconsin native who completed her internal medicine residency at Marshfield Clinic and then served for 22 years in clinical practice and administrative roles there. "Dr. Turney brings her visionary leadership to the Marshfield Clinic Health System at a time of great change in health care in general and for the System itself," said Mark Bugher, chair, Marshfield Clinic Health System Board of Directors. "Her clinical patient-care background and experience and the depth of knowledge she has about the business of health care delivery makes her ideal to take on this important role."
