ManagedWay Partners with Canada151 As It Expands its North American Carrier and Cloud Services

TROY, Mich., March 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- ManagedWay, a leading provider of telecommunications, cloud and colocation services, announced today that it has established a Point-of-Presence (PoP) at the Canada151 Data Centers in Toronto, enabling fast, reliable service between the U.S. and Canada via a fully compliant international connection.  The partnership is a milestone in ManagedWay's strategy to establish a strong partner ecosystem in major North American market hubs.

The PoP site launched with 10G IP services installed (up to 100G available on demand), is further interconnected to other major markets through both ManagedWay and C151 network connections and established peering exchanges. Immediate offerings include IP transit, transport and managed colocation services. The Company has suggested that high availability cloud services and clustering will become available later in 2017.

"Our partner ecosystem approach stems from our belief in doing good by doing well," said Robert Sanders, ManagedWay's presient and CEO.  "Potential partners need to reflect our belief in customer service excellence backed by a high degree of technical and network proficiency.  C151 certainly shows that beautifully, which is what gave us confidence to move forward on behalf of our current and future customers."

ManagedWay's expansion into Canada is part of an ongoing initiative to extend network infrastructure into strategic North America locations that provide market-accessibility return on investment.  "Our primary locations are strategically located within 500 miles of more than half the US and Canadian populations.  This places our resources closer to our customers and their end users and brings numerous competitive advantages in terms of access, speed and cost."

"We're thrilled to work with ManagedWay and believe that both companies are stronger as a result," said Joe Damiani, Canada151 Vice President.  "We've seen a rise in the number of U.S. businesses that require data services hosted in Canada.  This relationship will also providing our Canadian customers improved access to the U.S."

With cybersecurity and privacy concerns already complicating considerations, today's IT departments must confront complex compliance, international trade and data export rules.  ManagedWay's relationship with C151 allows U.S. businesses to work directly with a certified and SOC 2 compliant domestic partner while still having the Canadian access and availability they need - without the headaches.
