Malta : NEW CEO at MTA [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) has hired Mr. Paul Bugeja as its Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds outgoing CEO, Mr Josef Formosa Gauci. Before this appointment, Paul held a number of senior roles at Corinthia Hotels. Most recently he was CFO for the Hotels Operating Divisions and Group Monitoring Board Director. For this past year, he was President of the Malta Hotel & Restaurant Association. He said: This past year, with the appointment of an MTA representative in the US, Ms. Michelle Buttigieg, based in New York City, MTA has already made great strides in reestablishing Malta Tourism s official presence in this mostly untapped market.
