VocalTec was selected following a stringent vendor selection process and its products will be initially deployed in Lukoil's primary site in Perm, Russia. Lukoil Inform will deploy VocalTec's Trunking solution - Essentra(TM) CX - a scalable, carrier-grade SIP-based media gateway controller; Peering solution - Essentra(TM) EX - a peering manager that facilitates peering between SIP and/or H.323 networks; Service delivery solution - Essentra(TM) BAX - an application server that enables the delivery of residential and hosted enterprise VoIP services over any broadband infrastructure; Essentra TMS, a traffic management system and Essentra OSS, an operational support system.
