LodgeNet Interactive signs licensing agreement with PanasonicJun 22, 2010 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- LodgeNet Interactive Corporation, a US-based provider of interactive television and broadband solutions, has entered into an agreement for licensing its b-LAN(TM) broadband local area network technology to Panasonic Corporation (formerly Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.), a Japan-based manufacturer of electronic consumer products. Under the terms of the agreement, Panasonic will embed LodgeNet's patented b-LAN technology into their new LRU20 series television displays that Panasonic is designing for the hospitality market.
