Local Realtor appointed to state board [Northwest Florida Daily News, Fort Walton Beach]


(Northwest Florida Daily News (Fort Walton Beach) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Oct. 22--DESTIN -- Emerald Coast Association of Realtors member Judi Rutland was recently appointed as 2015 District 9 Vice President for Florida Realtors.

Rutland, a broker associate and director of professional development for Coldwell Banker United Realtors in Destin, has served in numerous capacities at the local level and is an ECAR past president. She was ECAR's 2013 Realtor of the Year and this year serves as chairperson of ECAR's Realtor Political Action and Elections committees, as well as a member of the Budget & Finance and Investment Management committees.



"I am humbled and honored to have been appointed to this position," Rutland said. "I look forward to carrying out the goals and vision of our 2015 Leadership team and to a successful year." Active at Florida Realtors, Rutland has served on multiple forums and committees over many years, including Professional Standards and Professional Development.

In addition to Rutland, other ECAR members recently appointed to serve in state-level leadership positions during 2015 for Florida Realtors are: --Bob Hudgens, broker and co-owner of Coastal Realty, will serve as chairman of both the Florida Realtors PAC Trustees and the Fundraising Subcommittee.


--Dawn Johnson, owner and broker of Back Stage Realty in Niceville, will serve as vice chairman of the Property Management Subcommittee.

--Sam Kinkaid, a broker associate with RE/MAX Paradise Properties and ECAR's president-elect, will serve as vice chairman of the Marketing Forum.

--Ed Smith, broker and owner of RE/MAX Coastal Properties in Destin and ECAR's president, will serve as vice chairman of the Industry Data and Analysis Forum.

--Keith Wood, director of property management at ERA American Real Estate, will serve as the vice chairman of the Young Professionals Forum.
