Jan 15, 2013 (Detroit Free Press - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Lexus this morning took the wraps off its 2014 IS completely redesigned compact sedan that will go on sale in mid-2013.

With styling inspired by Lexus' LF-A exotic sports car, the 2014 IS aims to inject new excitement into Toyota's luxury brand's lineup. The 2014 IS also offers a bit more rear legroom, thanks to a 3-inch longer wheelbase, and a hybrid model. There is also more trunk space.
