Leadership Workshop for Communicators Offered by IABC/PittsburghPITTSBURGH, Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- "Recipe for Success ... Ingredients for Successful Leadership," a workshop for professional communicators led by Cornelia Hostetler will be offered by IABC/Pittsburgh on Friday, November 14. This highly interactive hands-on workshop will teach and encourage communicators to be the best leader possible no matter where they are in their careers. Topics for the half-day workshop include the characteristics of an effective leader, six steps to succession planning, leadership strategies and others. Attendees will learn new leadership styles, creative ways to build relationships, and advice on how to motivate others. Hostetler is an internal communication team member at Honda of America Mfg. where she is responsible for Honda News Network (a closed circuit TV communication channel) and writing for Honda's internal magazine and intranet Web site. She has earned IABC Silver and Bronze Quill Awards of Excellence in event planning and communications. The program will be presented at the Engineer's Society of Western Pennsylvania at 337 Fourth Avenue in Downtown Pittsburgh. Cost is $99 for IABC members, $149 for non-members and $69 for students.
