LAVROV INSISTS ON DIPLOMATIC SOLUTION TO IRAN PROBLEM(Interfax News Agency Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)MOSCOW. March 27 (Interfax) - Moscow insists the Iran nuclear problem be resolved through diplomatic channels, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said during a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Manuchehr Motaki. Lavrov pointed to "the need to settle the problem by political- diplomatic methods within the IAEA format," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement available on its official website.
