Laidlaw & Co. Names Patrick Gallagher as Managing Director, Head of Healthcare Sales [Manufacturing Close - Up](Manufacturing Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Laidlaw & Co. reported the addition of Patrick Gallagher, MBA, CFA, to the Company's ranks as Managing Director and Head of Healthcare Sales. According to a release from the company, Gallagher co-founded Black Diamond Research in 2001, an independent sell-side research firm specializing in healthcare investing, financing and operations, serving the institutional investing community at large. Serving as Chief Executive Officer of BDR until 2010, Gallagher oversaw institutional research and sales. Prior to 2001, he held various sales positions at Kidder Peabody, PaineWebber and New Vernon Associates. Laidlaw Chief Executive Officer Matthew Eitner said, "Patrick will provide added depth and expertise to the existing Laidlaw Healthcare platform.
