Kush Bottles Implements Website Changes as Company Looks to Improve E-Commerce Presence

LOS ANGELES, May 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Kush Bottles, Inc. (OTCQB: KSHB), America's premier supplier of packaging, accessories, and branding solutions for the legal cannabis industry, announced that it has made several changes to it's website and e-commerce experience.  The company has revamped their homepage, allowing customers to access popular products more efficiently.  Kush Bottles has also implemented a will call pick-up option that gives customers the ability to order online, from their computer or smart phone, and come in to collect their order, while still having the option to pay cash at pick-up.

The changes show that Kush Bottles is focusing on becoming more e-commerce driven as the company looks to accelerate growth.  Nicholas Kovacevich, Co-Founder and CEO of Kush Bottles, remarked that "Moving toward more scalable e-commerce practices allows the company to facilitate more orders with less manpower."  He also commented on the fact the legal cannabis industry is a little behind the times when it comes to new age web commerce and best practices, adding, "We hope that our customers can begin to transact business in more efficient ways, and by making these technology changes, we can enable our customers to circumvent some of the hurdles they face in this industry and still observe sound business fundamentals."

Many cannabis businesses are still challenged by not having a checking account or company credit card. A recent article in the Wall Street Journal stated that in Colorado alone, over 2,500 licensed cannabis businesses with revenues of $1 billion a year, and paying $130 million in taxes—can't open bank accunts, and are forced to deal in cash.

Recognizing this dilemma, Kush Bottles decided to provide customers with the convenience of ordering online, with cash acceptance upon pick-up.  Using IP addresses, the website will direct the customer to pick up their order at the Kush Bottles facility in their geographic area.

Kovacevich commented further about the changes stating, "We intend to continue to improve the ordering and fulfillment process to prepare for increased demand.  With more states like California proposing ballot initiatives that can significantly increase the size of the legal cannabis market, our business needs to be proactive and implement technology modifications that will allow us to become more scalable."
