Konica Minolta to Preview Several Groundbreaking Product and Solution Offerings at the 2008 ON DEMAND Conference and Exposition
RAMSEY, N.J. --(Business Wire)-- Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta), a leading provider of advanced imaging and networking technologies for the desktop to the print shop, today unveiled the latest product and solution offerings for 2008 in conjunction with the 2008 ON DEMAND Conference and Exposition in Boston this week. The company will preview its new offerings as part of the bizhub PROTM series production print systems and showcase a host of options to further optimize the performance of its bizhubTM office systems.
Konica Minolta will deliver updates on its leadership position in today's competitive marketplace, as well as the latest bizhubTM and bizhub PRO products and solutions, at a press conference to be held at 11:00a EST. on March 4, 2008 in conference room Number 54 at the exposition. These new products and solutions will be featured in demos in the Konica Minolta booth, Number 916, including:
Products
Konica Minolta unveils the bizhub PRO(TM) 2500P, a new single pass duplex cut-sheet printer that marks the first in a series of engines to address heavy production print requirements for in-plant and commercial printing markets. The bizhub PRO 2500P further expands Konica Minolta's complete range of monochrome and color solutions in the production print market coverage.
Konica Minolta also introduces the perfect binder finishing option (PB-501) for the bizhub PRO(TM) C6500/C6500P Series. PB-501 is the latest addition to Konica Minolta's range of finishing options, enabling workhorse production print machines to handle everything from full-color company reports to paperback books and technical manuals.
Solutions
Also debuting in conjunction with the PB-501 is Version 2.0 of the IC-304 Print Controller available for the bizhub PRO(TM) C6500 color production print system. The option print controller, based on CREO Color Server technology, offers Konica Minolta customers complete support for the newly announced perfect binding finisher for the bizhub PRO C6500 to make perfect binding a continuous operation from start to finish.
Konica Minolta is also previewing PageScope Enterprise Suite, a solution for tracking all user activity on Konica Minolta bizhub series devices. Comprised of three modules - Account Manager, Authentication Manager, and MyPanel Manager - Pagescope Enterprise Suite provides an array of means for handling accounting, authentication and customized functionality for users to improve productivity.
Further enhancing the productivity and security capabilities of Konica Minolta's MFPs are the newly introduced LK-101 i-Option and LK-102 i-Option. Developed by Konica Minolta, the LK-101 i-Option offers the convenience of accessing the Web directly from an MFP's Image Panel - a new control panel from Konica Minolta offering document management capabilities from the MFP. The LK-102 i-Option, targeting security-demanding environments, offers AES 128-bit encryption for extensively secure environments, such as U.S. Government accounts.
Corporate Announcements
The Ready Group, a successful New England interactive direct marketing group, will join Konica Minolta at ON DEMAND to announce that seven of Konica Minolta's bizhub PRO C6500 production print systems have been successfully implemented since February 2007 as part of a strategy to increase productivity and direct marketing volume. The Ready Group has enhanced the quality output, reduced direct mail lead time, and increased print volumes by deploying these award-winning production print systems.
Konica Minolta also announces that it has been awarded first place in the Brand Keys Customer Loyalty Engagement Index in the "MFP Office Copier" category for 2008. Identified as number one in the MFP Office Copier category for the first time this year, Konica Minolta was selected based upon the company's ability to engage consumers and create loyal customers when measured against the "ideal" office business product.
