Jun, the 23-year-old forward of Trabzonspor, spent the last several weeks negotiating with the Bundesliga teams of Wolfsburg and Nuremberg but to no avail. The former Sparta Prague forward had spent half a year in Trabzon and wanted to move on. "I saw no prospects for me in Trabzonspor. They transferred me to the junior team after I returned. But the Besiktas Istanbul coach Jean Tigan showed an interest in me," Jun told Sport. "We ended up making a deal without any problem. But I have no way to get to Istanbul for the time being. The airport here is covered in snow," he added. The daily notes that Sporting Lisbon and Scotland's Hearts also showed an interest in Jun. dam/dr/vv |
