John Shomaker Joins Bulletin Intelligence to Lead Data Services Business

Bulletin Intelligence, a leading provider of customized intelligence briefings for the highest-level corporate and government executives, today announced that John Shomaker has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Data Services. Shomaker will have responsibility for expanding the company's analytic and intelligence solutions derived from proprietary and open-source statistical data sources.

Bulletin Intelligence is the quiet leader in providing custom daily briefings and dashboards to the world's most demanding executives. Enterprise clients include the White House, two-thirds of US Cabinet-level agencies, a wide range of Fortune 500 companies, and dozens of leading medical and professional associations, together reaching more than 1.5 million verified professionals every day. "Our senior clients depend on us every day for their 'must-read' distillation and analysis of news and other open-source intelligence, such as financial-analysts' reports, industry research, M&A transactions, etc.," says CEO Paul Roellig. "In the past few years with the explosion in statistical data sources, we've increasingly augmented our daily briefings with data insights that affect our client organizations. In 2015, Bulletin Intelligence grew nearly 40%, andunder John's leadership, we plan to escalate our growth rate with additional data and analytic offerings - not only to quantify and predict media influence on corporate reputation, but also to predict changes in customer segment trends, competitive position, and even financial performance."

Bulletin recently released v.2.3 of its flagship Media Analytics solution that uniquely integrates traditional news and social media scoring to assess an organization's media position and competitive vulnerabilities across key segments, products, and corporate initiatives. The solution combines a sophisticated, human-scoring methodology, real-time audience measurement, a data visualization toolset, and an expert analysis team aligned to each client. Shomaker adds, "Bulletin is a trusted source of information intelligence for many of the world's leading organizations. These clients have enthusiastically adopted our Media Analytics solution, and I'm excited to enhance and extend that proposition to other predictive data signals that help executives make better and more timely business decisions."

Shomaker joins the company having led several organizations delivering analytic products and services. Most recently, he was CEO of AdJuggler, a high-performance digital advertising SaaS platform and, prior to that, he was Executive Vice President for MarketBridge (News - Alert), a quantitative strategy business serving Fortune 100 clients. Shomaker holds an MBA and Bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
