The JMOR Connection Inc Launches Local Community Food Drive to Benefit St. Mary's Pantry in Pompton Lakes

(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) KINNELON, NJ -- (Marketwired) -- 09/26/14 -- Local Kinnelon-based technology leader JMOR has launched an exciting and massive new local food drive effort to take place through the end of October, 2014. The food drive was created by JMOR founder John C. Morley, and all proceeds will benefit St. Mary's Pantry in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey.

"As a local technology resource for a variety of companies and individuals in our community, JMOR wants to do its part to help stamp out hunger," comments JMOR founder John C. Morley. "Our food drive benefiting St. Mary's Pantry is our way of using our knowledge and resources to help our neighbors and to do our part to wipe out hunger on the local level." Morley is now leading the way to help stamp out hunger from the JMOR headquarters in Kinnelon, New Jersey. In addition to creating the drive and implementing donation drops and sites on behalf of St. Mary's, he has also enlisted the help of local high schools, whose students are providing support to garner attention and food donations at neighborhood locations throughout the Fall.

To help expand the food drive's reach and success, Morley has also achieved the participation of several leading businesses, doctor's offices, and more, and he is also actively calling for individual volunteers and businesses alike to offer their support as food donation drop site providers, as well.

Taking Part in the JMOR Food DriveTaking part is easy -- donors simply need to drop off their non-perishable foods, household and toiletry items at one of two convenient neighborhood locations -- in Wayne at Dr. Voight's Eye Care (879 Black Oak Ridge Road), or at Wayne Pharmacy (1481 State Route 23 #3) in Butler.

To help feed the hungry, the food drive is currently calling for donations including the following food and household items: Salad Dressing Soy Milk Ensure or Boost Canned Potatoes Knorr Pasta & Rice Side Dishes Juice Boxes Large Juice Bottles (64 oz. or more) Canned Manwiches Fruit & Pudding Cups Cooking Oil Coffee (Including Instant & Decaf) Mayonnaise Tea (Regular and Decaf) Canned Corn Baked Beans Chili Dry Beans Stuffing Assorted Soups Macaroni & Cheese Chef Boyardee Products Garbanzo Beans Canned Diced Tomatoes Canned Tomato Sauce Oatmeal Healthy Snacks Cake Mixes Granola Bars Baby Food Popcorn Peanut Butter Jelly Mustard Ketchup Toothpaste Dental Floss Mouthwash Cups Napkins & Plates Other Toiletry Items Box Milk (parmalat: whole milk & 2%) For those who would like to volunteer to do more, The JMOR Connection is also currently welcoming volunteers who can offer additional drop box sites or provide assistance with food donation pickups, and more.
