Jarad Madea Joins TigerRisk as Partner in Capital Markets & AdvisoryTigerRisk Partners LLC, the risk/capital management and strategic advisory firm, today announced that it has appointed Jarad Madea as Partner within TigerRisk Capital Markets & Advisory. In his new position, Mr. Madea will advise insurers and reinsurers on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets products. He will report to Tony Ursano, President of TigerRisk. "I have worked with Jarad for 12 years and he is a highly successful investment banker with over 50 insurance M&A and capital raising transactions to his credit," said Mr. Ursano. "He has a proven track record of leadership, origination and execution and will be a tremendous asset to TigerRisk and our clients. Together we will build a highly analytic, insightful and objective M&A and capital markets advisory business." Mr. Madea began his career at Banc of America Securities in the Financial Institutions Investment Banking Group where he executed a wide range of transactions including M&A, equity, hbrid securities and debt. He further developed his insurance industry expertise as a Senior Vice President at Willis Capital Markets & Advisory where he originated and led numerous sell- and buy-side M&A transactions, advised Willis Re brokerage clients on capital markets solutions and developed strong relationships with a variety of insurance focused investors.
