iWay Software: iWay Software Positioned in Visionaries Quadrant in Analyst Report on Managed File Transfer; iWay evaluated based on completeness of vision and ability to execute

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge)
RDATE:04072008

London, UK -- iWay Software, a division of Information Builders and an
innovator of enterprise integration solutions, today announced that
Gartner, Inc. has positioned iWay to the Visionaries Quadrant in the
recently issued "Magic Quadrant for Managed File Transfer," issued June
23, 2008.

According to the Gartner report, Managed File Transfer (MFT) helps
companies, "manage the movement of information from system to system,
partner to partner and person to person
Gartner tracks 20 vendors in this space offering MFT functionality in
multiple deployment models, including services, appliances and
traditional software. Additionally, all the vendors represent various
spectrums of the MFT suite market, including multi-enterprise
collaboration, internal integration and support for common
collaboration mechanisms, including email."

Vendors in the Visionaries' quadrant are defined in the report as
companies that, "understand the market and customer requirements well,
but have fewer assets available or committed to the pursuit of this
particular market than leaders. Specific to the MFT suite market,
visionaries offer the functionality requirements often requested by
Type A (early technology adopters) companies, such as an
service-oriented architecture with interoperable interfaces, business
process management and an integrated service environment for design and
modeling. However, many visionaries compete in multiple markets, trying
to balance and juggle resources and marketing messages."

"Our Managed File Transfer offering, gives customers the ability to
perform highly reliable, scalable, and auditable transfers for any size
file, across any protocol," said iWay President John Senor. "At iWay,
the single integration infrastructure we provide is capable of handling
MFT, B2B and A2A integrations. By contrast, it is my belief that our
competitors require separate products and infrastructures for each
integration, which increases costs, complexity and maintenance."
