It's Monday Morning. Did Your Kid Make It to School on Time?

CHICAGO --(Business Wire)-- The Ad Council and U.S. Army have teamed up with Chicago-based Cellit to offer a "Wake-Up Call" mobile marketing program that motivates teens to get up and go to school. The program, which is part of the national "Boost" campaign designed to encourage students to graduate from high school, features free ringtones and wake-up call messages recorded by professional athletes and celebrities.

NBA All-Star and Captain of the Phoenix Suns, Amare Stoudemire, helped launch the Wake-Up Call program. Examples of Stoudemire's recorded wake-up calls include:

-- Good morning. This is Amare Stoudemire from the Phoenix Suns. Just calling to remind you it's time to get out of bed and go to school. Don't make me call you twice!

-- I'm Amare Stoudemire and you're still in bed. Wake up and go to school, or I'm going to slam dunk on your head!

-- I'm Amare Stoudemire of the Phoenix Suns. I've been the NBA All-Star three times in the past four years. I made the USA Olympic Team in '04. I was named the Rookie of the Year in '03. But before all that, I had to wake up, get out of bed, and go to school. Maybe you should, too.

Parents and peers can send wake-up calls to high school students by visiting www.boostup.org. This site allows visitors to preview a variety of wake-up call messages. Once a message has been selected, friends and family members can submit a cell phone number and request a specific wake-up time. The next morning, the student will wake up to a motivational phone message from Amare Stoudemire.

"Mobile communication has become almost a second form of language among today's teenagers," said David Wachs, President of Cellit. "The Wake-Up Call program uses that dialect to grab their attention and generate excitement about finishing high school."

Cellit was founded on the premise that mobile technology can be accessible to all by combining engineering expertise with world-class customer service. Cellit develops innovative and cost-effective self-service solutions for mobile marketing, as well as custom mobile solutions for some of the world's largest brands.
