IT and Communication experts warns on attacks on communication lines
Apr 09, 2012 (Mass Media Distribution LLC via COMTEX) --
These warnings from the IT Support and communications experts came on the heels of news about various politicians and well known people from Britain being the target of eavesdroppers through wiretapping their phone lines and even their supposedly secure. These celebrities and even the people in the higher ups were victimized by others who were suddenly able to listen into their private conversations and then suddenly leaked to the public.
The experts even warned that their information suddenly leaking to the public is actually the least of the worries of the people who would suffer from attacks on their communication lines. Once their phone and voicemail security had been compromised, there are a variety of attacks that could be done to them.
These experts warned that the hackers could try calling back the people in your voicemail account and pretend that they are your associate. They could then try to fish for personal details or make financial transfers from your account to theirs. They could also try to simply fish out the information based on your conversation on the phone. They could try to get social security numbers, bank account pins and all other confidential information, and use it to be able to steal your money. Lastly, these hackers could even listen in and record your communications and then threaten and blackmail you of releasing these private conversations (no matter the topic) to the public if you would not come up with the money to be able to pay them off..
Because of these possible threats to your phone and voicemail security, these experts are hoping that people would start becoming more aware of the various methods that they could use to be able to protect their communication lines. One of the methods that these experts are championing is to try and get a provider of a secure voicemail. These providers would be able to provide a secure encryption method that would be able to hinder and deter hackers from trying to access your account. While they are not 100% safe, they are still a great way for stopping these kinds of attacks. E-mail us at: info@mailsure-it.com, Website: www.mailsure-it.com
