Iran test fires missile that avoids radar: report+(Japan Economic Newswire Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)TEHRAN, March 31_(Kyodo) _ Iran on Friday successfully test fired a locally made missile that can evade radar, state media reported. "Iran successfully test fired a home-made Fajr-3 missile," Gen. Hossein Salami, a senior Revolutionary Guards commander, was quoted as saying on state television. He said the missile can simultaneously hit several targets, has near stealth capabilities with a high maneuverability, pin-point accuracy and radar-avoidance features. The test-firing was an important part of a military maneuver in the Persian Gulf starting earlier in the day. |
