IPcelerate and Westcon Group Sign Distribution Agreement

DALLAS & TARRYTOWN, N.Y. --(Business Wire)-- IPcelerate, Inc., a provider of advanced communications-based software applications and Westcon Group, Inc, the world's leading specialty distributor in networking, security, mobility and convergence, jointly announced today that they have signed a distribution agreement for North America in which Westcon's Comstor division will offer IPcelerate's VoIP business solutions through its extensive network of Value-Added Resellers (VARs).

IPcelerate technologies help companies get more out of their unified communications investments through a comprehensive set of off-the-shelf products. Their IPsession and IPstudio application platforms are pre-configured with a complete suite of embedded capabilities including intelligent dial-out, call recording, and 911 alert integration. All of IPcelerate's appliance and applications products work seamlessly alongside Cisco's best of breed unified communications products, and this powerful combination represents an opportunity for Comstor's VARs to have a positive impact on their customers' workplace and business efficiency.

"Our partnership with Westcon Group represents a growth opportunity for both companies," stated Kevin Brown, CEO of IPcelerate. "Comstor's well-known expertise in IP technology along with their extensive network of highly qualified VARs is bound to open new markets for us. In turn, our pre-integrated suite of products will add value and increased revenues for their resellers and does not require custom development. We are very excited about this relationship and look forward to supporting Comstor's sales and marketing efforts."

Jeff Smith, vice president and general manager of Comstor, added: "There are obvious synergies between IPcelerate and Comstor given our focus and expertise around our core vendor Cisco. Moreover, having a market leading applications vendor on board such as IPcelerate will help our VAR community make inroads into more convergence deals and execute at a faster rate. We are happy to be offering IPcelerate through our OneVoice program and look forward to developing mutual opportunities moving forward."

IPcelerate's solutions will be of interest to Comstor's vertically focused VARs, specifically serving the government, education, healthcare and retail markets. Comstor's Advanced Technology team will assist in driving opportunities and solutions related to these markets, and assist with technical support and integration.

Brett Morris, Director of Sales for Electronic Systems, Inc. a Virginia-based Comstor reseller, commented: "This represents another developmental phase for Comstor's convergence and affinity offerings. Comstor's OneVoice is the perfect environment to introduce IPcelerate's products to the channel, since the discussion is really about impacting business. OneVoice will help frame that opportunity for Comstor's reseller community."
