INX Achieves Cisco Powered Managed Services DesignationHOUSTON --(Business Wire)-- INX Inc., (NASDAQ:INXI) announced today that it has achieved the Cisco Powered Managed Services designation from Cisco Systems. This designation recognizes INX for its proven ability to offer valuable managed services based on advanced networking technologies. Regarding this new Cisco designation for INX, David DeYoung, Vice President in charge of INX's managed services offering, stated, "We are pleased and encouraged by this recognition of INX by Cisco as an advanced partner that delivers its customers managed services that meet Cisco's rigorous measures for quality. This designation validates the effort and investment that INX has expended to create a high-customer-value life-cycle support offering that provides managed services based on the ITIL framework. As the IP network continues to grow in complexity and importance to organizations as the technology platform for virtually all communications, minimizing network downtime becomes increasingly critical. Monitoring and management of the key components of the network is the only way to ensure that network issues are identified and resolved before they create catastrophic network failures. As organizations that are considering unified communications and other forms of advanced network technologies increasingly come to realize the importance of remote monitoring and management of their network, this designation by Cisco will serve as one more data point that shows INX's superior technical competency and high degree of commitment to customer satisfaction, and will provide an additional reason to choose INX." As an enhancement to the Cisco Channel Partner Program, the Cisco Managed Services Channel Program rewards partners for the relative value of services delivered to customers. The program includes three managed service program levels, Cisco Powered Managed Service, Strategic Managed Service, and Legacy Managed Service. The premium Cisco Powered Managed Service level currently includes designations for Connectivity, Unified Communications, Security, Mobility and Data Center Services. Partners that achieve the Cisco Powered Managed Services brand will have access to resources designed to help them deliver a wide range of managed services within the recently integrated Cisco Power Program framework. To participate in the program partners must demonstrate the required resources, systems, and procedures to deploy, manage, and support managed network and IT solutions in all locations for which the services are available. The program's entry criterion is based on the Information Technology Infrastructure Library(R) (ITIL) framework of best practices. An annual assessment by Cisco of the partner's network operation center (NOC) is conducted to review whether the requirements are met. In addition, the managed services sold to customers must include a service-level agreement with a minimum term of one year. Cisco Powered Managed Services are based on industry standards and Cisco validated designs to help deliver a premium end-user experience.
