Intertainment Providing New Online Platform Allowing Independent Artists Music Sales

(Market Wire Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) TORONTO, ONTARIO, October 22 / MARKET WIRE/ --

Intertainment Media Inc. ("Intertainment" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: INT) is pleased to announce that it has signed a letter of intent to build an integrated video and audio music platform for the Internet and mobile markets with US based Let The People Speak and New Zealand based company Txttunes.

The new platform is expected to launch in the US before Christmas and will feature over 1,000 independent music videos and mp3 files, organized into a minimum of 10 channels. Eye Rock Digital.com will host the new platform. The shared revenues for the program will be driven both by advertising and digital downloads to online and wireless devices, including cellular phones. This unique programming will allow consumers to watch music videos and if they wish to purchase the music file, they can text in a code from their cell phone and receive the file instantly.

The program will also be an outlet for independent music artists to publish their video and audio content in a secure, digital rights managed environment. Artists will receive a significant share of the profits from each downloaded item. Selected artists will also have the opportunity to create their own online and mobile channels, giving them the ability to financially promote their music, merchandise and live events.

"Intertainment continues to drive business to its core focus of building new and exciting opportunities in online and mobile content distribution, customer acquisition and advertising revenue arenas. The relationships we have with Let The People Speak and Txttunes reinforces Intertainment's ability to attract global companies who are seeking to create value proposition for their online and mobile content offerings," said Mr. David Lucatch, CEO of Intertainment Media Inc.

Matt Coleman CEO from Txttunes stated ''we can now engage over 200 million cell phones in the United States including AT&T, Verizon and Sprint Nextel subscribers. Our service comes at a time where the music industry faces a number of challenges in the face of the current digital revolution. By combining digital music downloads, the massive growth of mobile phones with video makes it a very compelling offering."
