Interactive Intelligence Selects BladeWare(VXML) CE for Its Interaction Center Platform

ROSWELL, Ga., Jan. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Commetrex Corporation announced that Interactive Intelligence has selected BladeWare(VXML) Commercial Edition (CE) as the VoiceXML interpreter for its Interaction Center platform. "BladeWare(VXML) CE will enable us to focus on our specialty of developing sophisticated voice-enhanced IVR applications without having to worry about supporting the latest VoiceXML standards," said Joseph A. Staples, senior vice president of worldwide marketing for Interactive Intelligence. BladeWare(VXML) CE will expand the Interaction Center platform's support for VoiceXML applications, by allowing Interactive Intelligence to create applications faster and more efficiently than in the past.

"BladeWare(VXML) CE is unique because it offers small to mid-size telephony providers the ability to use the VoiceXML standard without the cost and time associated with developing and maintaining VoiceXML interpreters," according to Tom Ray, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Commetrex(R). "With improved performance, added features, and full VoiceXML 2.1 compliance, BladeWare(VXML) CE is an exciting new alternative for the many OpenVXi users, such as Interactive Intelligence, that have largely been neglected," Ray continued.

BladeWare(VXML) CE is the commercial version of BladeWare(VXML), Commetrex' open-source interpreter, which is available for download at http://www.sourceforge.net/. BladeWare(VXML) CE includes source code, as well as software support and licensing options. Additional advantages of the commercial license include redistribution rights, warranty, indemnification, access to beta versions, and priority response to feature requests.
