Intec Supports Service Launch for Telekom Malaysia


Oct 05, 2010 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Intec, a provider of business support system (BSS) solutions, announced that Telekom Malaysia, a communications service provider, has implemented Intec's Wholesale Business Management Solution (WBMS) and Total Service Mediation (TSM).



According to Telekom Malaysia, the implementation of the company's integrated end-to-end solution has replaced the operator's legacy system, thereby streamlining operational processes across the business, increasing management visibility and control and significantly improving time-to-market for new services.

The deployment of Intec's mediation solution was undertaken to support Telekom Malaysia's high speed broadband service implementation. In March, Telekom Malaysia launched the new high speed broadband service under the UniFi brand, offering subscribers the triple play experience of video, high speed Internet and voice services.
