Presenter Sara Allan, Deputy Director of the College Ready Team at The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, will share findings on using education technology to improve classroom instruction and personalize learning for every student.

How can we ensure the use of digital tools in the classroom is supporting teachers and improving instruction? Recently, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation released Teachers Know Best: Making Data Work for Students and Teachers, a summary of findings to encourage K-12 innovation by helping educators, school leaders and product developers better understand teacher perspectives surrounding the use of digital instructional tools in the classroom.

In this webinar, Sara Allan will share the Foundation's efforts and highlight the work of key partnrs to illuminate how education technology can support teachers in a variety of ways to adapt instruction to student needs, open up new possibilities for project-based learning, and strengthen communication between students, teachers and parents.
