ICT Project, Plus for Education - Unijos VC

Jos, Jan 13, 2010 (Vanguard/All Africa Global Media via COMTEX) -- Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jos, Professor Sonni Tyoden, has said the successful completion of an Information and Communication Technology, ICT, Project in the Department of Mathematics of the university to boost interactive teaching would uplift educational standard in the institution.


He stated this yesterday, during a demonstration of the e-learning teaching process at the ICT Mathematics Interactive Laboratory to principal officers of the university.

Represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics) Prof. Bethrand Nwufo, the Vice-Chancellor expressed excitement over the development, saying the innovation would boost the institution's rating.
