I-many Named to Software Magazine's 26th Annual Software 500
EDISON, N.J. --(Business Wire)--
I-many, Inc. (NASDAQ:IMNY), a leading provider of contract management software and services for the enterprise, has been named to the Software 500 by Software Magazine for the fifth consecutive year, ranking again in the top 300 for 2008.
The combination of I-many's recognized role as an industry visionary and the extensive expertise it has achieved through 17 years in the contract management business continues to drive revenue for the company. I-many's focus on customer ROI and the ability of its solutions to track contracts, dollars and products is unique in the industry and accounts for the company's success.
"We are honored to be named again to the esteemed Software 500 list for a fifth consecutive year," said John Rade, president and CEO of I-many. "Software Magazine's inclusion of I-many in its ranking reflects our leadership in enterprise contract management solutions for the Life Science and Industrial sectors. With the recent launch of I-many ContractSphere® 6.5, we anticipate continued growth and expansion of our customer base into 2009 and beyond."
The Software 500 is a revenue-based ranking of the world's largest software and services suppliers targeting medium to large enterprises, their IT professionals, software developers and business managers involved in software and services purchasing. The ranking is based on total worldwide software and services revenue for 2007. This includes revenues from software licenses, maintenance and support, training and software-related services and consulting. Suppliers are not ranked on their total corporate revenue, since many have other lines of business, such as hardware. The financial information was gathered by a survey prepared by King Content Co. and posted at www.Softwaremag.com, as well as from public documents.
"The 2008 Software 500 results show that revenue growth in the software and services industry was healthy, with total Software 500 revenue of $451.8 billion worldwide for 2007 representing 14.7% growth from the previous year," says John P. Desmond, editor of Software Magazine and Softwaremag.com. "We have added over 100 new companies to the list this year. We're seeing strong growth from more companies based outside the U.S., especially from systems integration and outsourcing services firms based in India."
