HomeAid America Celebrates Partnership with ProBuild

Strengthening its relationship with the industry-leading building supply company, HomeAid has appointed Paul Vaughn of ProBuild to its Board of Directors. ProBuild, along with its supply partners donated $135,000 to the HomeAid organization, furthering its commitment to the homeless families of America.



"HomeAid was blown away by ProBuild's generosity at their annual event this year," said Peter Simons, CEO of HomeAid America, who was in attendance to accept the donation and talk about HomeAid. "They have partnered with HomeAid over the years, but this donation is unprecedented and incredibly appreciated. This year is our 25th anniversary and it will be a great help as we continue on our mission to build new lives for America's homeless through housing and community outreach." As part of ProBuild's ongoing partnership with HomeAid, Paul Vaughn, SVP of Regional Operations for ProBuild, has joined HomeAid America's Board of Directors. Paul is a 15-year veteran of ProBuild and brings a wealth of building industry knowledge and experience to help HomeAid in its national efforts.

"I am pleased to join HomeAid's Board in this milestone year," said Vaughn. "I believe the work that HomeAid does for homeless families is very important and impactful. I hope my work on the board will help HomeAid to continue to thrive in the communities it serves." In addition to the large monetary donation to HomeAid America, ProBuild has provided in-kind donation of building materials to various projects built by HomeAid's 15 chapters around the country.


"Thanks to product donations by ProBuild and other industry partners, HomeAid has been able to provide over 200 million dollars' worth of housing and other facilities to charities helping the homeless for only about $100 million," said Simons. "This is a $100 million donation on behalf of the building industry to help with this critical issue."
