High-speed ferry hits unidentified object off Kagoshima, 49 injured+(Japan Economic Newswire Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)KAGOSHIMA, Japan, April 9_(Kyodo) _ A high-speed ferry collided with an unidentified object in waters off the city of Kagoshima on Sunday evening, leaving 49 people injured, the Japan Coast Guard said. The ferry was heading from Yaku Island to Kagoshima port when the incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m., the coast guard said.
