Most online e-learning courses are PowerPoint presentation laced with video or downloaded PDF files with an associated test. The ability to engage the physical therapists in continuing education that actually utilizes the strength of the medium is difficult to find.

Healthclick and North American Seminars have been providing engaging physical therapy continuing education courses since 1996. In 1998, the Interactive Shoulder Algorithm delivered a new learning environment to thousands of licensed medical professionals. With the introduction of Healthclick Desktop, North American Seminars prepares the path for its introduction of the next generation of e-learning tools and content.

Healthclick Desktop integrates with the Healthclick Learning Management System to provide a collaborative learning environment online and on the desktop. This platform allows us to deliver our unique technology in a way that currently does not exist in the online continuing education marketplace.


In the next few months, North American Seminars, Inc will introduce the first physical therapy online courses using this platform. This physical therapy continuing education online course will utilize this new framework and will deliver an entirely new type of online course. Using the proprietary technology developed at Healthclick, physical therapists and occupational therapists will be able to greatly expand their online learning capabilities utilizing this new technology.
